A new twist in CBSE results!!

Greetings to all the readers!!!

As we are going through mid July ,when CBSE can announce the result for class 10th and 12th at any time , a new update is being available to us.

The exams for class 10th and 12th which was scheduled from 1st July to 15th July 2020 were cancelled by The Supreme court in the courtesy of COVID - 19 pandemic . Due to which average marking will be granted to the students as per the following guidelines:

As per the CBSE, the candidates who appeared in more than three exams, “their average marks in best three performing subjects will be awarded in the subjects whose examinations have not been conducted”.

However, the CBSE has said that if a candidate has appeared only in three exams, then the average marks of two subjects will be awarded in the subjects whose examinations have not been conducted.
And for students who had not given one exam yet ,the marks will be alloted by considering the internals that was conducted in schools.

Due to this general marking criteria,CBSE decided to not to announce merit list this year. Many students are disappointed by this decision. But ,As done by ICSE board,CBSE will not release any merit list for the batch 2019-2020.

CBSE is trying to improve their  results as compared to the  last year's. This year ,the number of toppers from every school will be less i.e. few of the students will top  in their school this year.

The deserving candidates might be disappointed but in this pandemic the lives are more important than marks . This policy is considered as  the first priority of CBSE .
The passing percentage will be more as the conduction of compartment is seeming to be impossible this year.

Stay home,stay safe.
