BIG UPDATE!!! CBSE reduce the syllabus for session 2020-2021
Greetings to all the readers!!!
Due to the Corona pandemic and nationwide lockdown ,students are not able to go to school for learning, as health is the main concern in anyone's life. However, students are taking online classes offered by the schools but they have to do self study in order to get maximum marks in their next year's board exams. Keeping all this in mind, NCERT has reduced the syllabus for all the classes for academic session 2020-2021. As per the notice, 33% syllabus will be reduced .
It doesn't means that the whole chapter will go out of syllabus. It means that some topics from different chapters will be deducted.
The board is contemplating on a “rationalized syllabus” for classes 9 to 12 students in the next academic session as the COVID-19 pandemic has already disrupted the beginning of the classes and other academic activities.
The officials of CBSE also said that the suggestions have been taken from many stakeholders for the revision of the syllabus.
Teachers are advised to be more compassionate towards the students so that they can study at home without getting bored or go into depression.
Stay homeš , Stay safe.
